Challenging Star Darshan starrer ‘Porkhi’ is all set to scorch the screens. Producer Datta Threya Bachchche Gowda and director M.D. Sreedhar have confirmed the film will be released as scheduled on January 14.

‘Porkhi’ is a remake of the super hit Telugu film ‘Pokkiri’ starring Mahesh Babu. The film was also remade in Tamil as ‘Pokkiri’ with Vijay and in Hindi as ‘Wanted’ with Salman Khan. All the versions had a phenomenal run at the box office and the team of Kannada ‘Porkhi’ is also expecting to re-create the magic.

Darshan who is thrilled to work in ‘Porkhi’ said the film is very rich in production values and the climax action sequence will be a highlight for the film. The leading lady Praneetha also hopes to hit the big league after this film.
